On Tuesday evening, myself and Nicky Beck, our Director of Admissions, travelled to London to the Chelsea Town Hall for the Bute House, Glendower and Faulkner House Senior Schools Fair. Every top senior school was in situ and there was a real buzz throughout the evening. We seemed to be quite the beacon that night, with our bright red tablecloth, merchandise and branding standing out in the crowd of other schools. What struck me the most, though, was the gift that our senior schools gave us that night. It was a true reminder for our girls, you our parents, and staff of what Godstowe is renowned for. Without seeking it out, I was inundated with comments from senior Heads and admissions teams, all saying how lovely our Godstowe girls are, how much they excel at senior level thanks to the preparation and opportunity they have been given in their time at Godstowe. One even said, 'what are you doing with them- it's clearly magic, as so many of your girls are just so ahead when they arrive with us!' It coincided with our senior girls gaining 1st place at the Heathfield STEAM Challenge that day and the Heathfield team came up to wax lyrical about this group saying what a strong and impressive team they had been. 

And that's just it- Godstowe sets your girls up for the best possible start to senior school and life. The success they go on to achieve is wonderful to behold and that is thanks to the Godstowe team and the experiences they are given. The kitemark attached to a Godstowe application to our top schools speaks volumes, and I am enormously proud of that. It is certainly something we can all share and celebrate.
