At Godstowe, our vibrant boarding community brings together girls from 14 different nationalities across five continents, creating a truly global and inclusive environment. British and international girls are fully integrated; this rich diversity fosters cultural awareness, broadens perspectives, and encourages lifelong friendships across borders.
All our boarders benefit from a warm and welcoming atmosphere where they can share traditions, learn from one another, and develop the confidence to thrive in a multicultural world.
Girls for whom English is not their native language are able to quickly gain fluency, while additional EAL support can be arranged for those who need it.
With dedicated pastoral care and a strong sense of community, Godstowe provides a supportive home away from home for international boarders, ensuring that every girl feels valued and empowered to reach her full potential.

Godstowe is ideally located for international families, just a 50-minute drive from London Heathrow airport, and 30 minutes by train from Central London.
Our secure location – just outside the historic market town of High Wycombe – provides a safe environment for girls to thrive, while experiencing life in the UK.
Visa Update
Important Reminder: ETA digital travel system rollout
As of January 8, 2025, many travellers who previously did not require a visa to enter the UK will now need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). This includes nationals of the USA, Australia, Canada, Japan and many others. Starting April 2, 2025, travellers from Europe will also be required to obtain an ETA for entry to the UK, with applications opening on March 5, 2025. The ETA can be viewed as the UK’s equivalent of the USA’s ESTA and involves an online application process which will be low cost and should lead to very quick decisions.
