Eating healthily is particularly important in a busy boarding environment. Our pupils lead busy and energetic school days, requiring mental and physical energy. We know how important it is for them to have a varied, tasty and nutritious diet.

Our catering is outsourced to award-winning company CH&Co. There is a choice of a hot main course, vegetarian and vegan options, jacket potatoes, homemade soup, a fantastic salad bar, dessert, yoghurt, fresh fruit. They host regular “pop-ups” – e.g freshly made sushi. We also mark special dates for our international boarders in the calendar with culinary events like a Chinese New Year meal.

In our bid to help the planet, we are constantly looking at more ways for our kitchen to be more sustainability. Recent initiatives to support this include: growing our own herbs, zero waste vegetables (skin-on when served), reusing leftovers, recycling tins for risers and looking into how we use some of the plate waste food for the composter.
