Taster Days

Choosing the right school is an important decision, and there’s no better way to truly experience life at Godstowe than by spending time with us. We offer different options depending on your child's age, ensuring they feel comfortable and get the most from their visit.

Nursery and Reception (Ages 2–4)

Our Stay and Play sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for young children to experience a taste of life at Godstowe in a fun, friendly, and nurturing environment. They’ll have the chance to play with girls and boys their own age while being cared for by our experienced Early Years staff.

Parents stay with their child during these sessions, allowing both you and your little one to get a feel for our welcoming community. If you're interested in attending, please email Nicky Beck, Director of Admissions, at [email protected].

Pre-Prep and Prep (Ages 4–12)

Our Taster Days offer prospective pupils the chance to immerse themselves in a typical school day, meet our friendly staff and pupils, and take part in engaging lessons and activities. It’s the perfect way to discover what makes Godstowe such a happy and inspiring place to learn.

What to Expect on a Taster Day:

• A warm welcome from staff and pupils
• Participation in fun and interactive lessons
• The chance to make new friends and meet children in their year group
• A tour of our beautiful campus and facilities
• A delicious lunch in our dining hall

We offer Taster Days throughout the year and will do our best to find a date that works for your family. If your child is considering boarding, we can also arrange an Overnight Taster to give them a real insight into life as a boarder.

For all Taster Days (except Stay and Play sessions), registration is required before booking. Once this is completed, we can arrange a suitable date for your child's visit.
