Scholarship Success for Godstowe Leavers

We would like to congratulate our leavers this year for the wide range of exhibitions and scholarships awarded to a variety of top senior schools. 

Headmistress Sophie Green said "I am immensely proud of the way that all our pupils have coped with the disruption caused by the pandemic this year.  For our Fourths, sitting Common Entrance was quite a hurdle at the end of such a challenging year.  The academic skills our girls have developed have, however, enabled them to reach the finishing line with prowess and pride, and I know they will be in an advantageous position in September at the start of a new chapter at Senior School.

To those who leave Godstowe this year, I wish the following: the ability to tackle opportunities, to try new things with energy and enthusiasm; a resilience to cope with failure and to understand that every failure is an important step on the way to success; a genuine belief in, and love for yourself, and finally in true Godstowe form, the drive to set goals and strive to reach them."

As a non-selective school, we pride ourselves on the range and number of scholarships and exhibitions our girls are awarded to senior school.  We work closely with each family to find the right senior school for each girl.  We hold senior school Q & A events, and information evenings from year 3 up, to ensure families are equipped with all the right information to prepare for the school of their choice.
