New Astroturf for Main School Play Area

Our Estates Team took advantage of the summer holidays and fine weather to replace the astroturf on the Main School playground. Installed by a specialist company, the new surface looks beautiful and is perfect for creating a safe environment for children to play in.  

It is tough, durable, and soft on hands and knees, ideal under play equipment, allowing our girls to play freely and safely outside on a safe, hygienic surface. Compared to the previous surface, it is softer, non-slippy, non-icy, and benefits from better drainage, as well as looking brighter and cleaner!

The path alongside the play area has also been levelled out and replaced with a grippier, softer surface.

The girls are already enjoying using the area, with plenty of smiling happy faces at breaktime!
