Godstowe – Phased Reopening

On Tuesday 2 June, we were pleased to welcome pupils from Nursery, Beginners, Kindergarten, and Middles back on to the school site. The school worked extremely hard to ensure the children had a safe environment to return to, with measures including a complete weekly sanitising of the areas being used,  temperature taking, and socially distanced learning in small ‘bubbles’.  Drop-offs, pick-ups, playtime and lunch breaks have been staggered to minimise contact between the year groups.  

We are thankful for our spacious buildings and small class sizes, which have meant that Little Godstowe and our Pre-Prep have been able to carry on their learning in their normal buildings, and our Middles have been split into larger spaces 

In the meantime, students in years 2-5 and 7-8 continue with our Virtual Godstowe lessons remotely, with the Fourths sitting their Common Entrance examinations from home this week.

We are proud of the whole Godstowe community for adapting so well to this new way of learning and working.
