We are delighted you are considering Godstowe for your child. 

Godstowe is an independent Prep School offering day and boarding for girls aged 7-13. We also have a Pre-Prep and Nursery for girls and boys aged 3 to 7.

The school welcomes pupils from all backgrounds and is non-selective, but we aim to ensure that pupils can cope with the pace of learning and thus benefit from the education provided. Older girls are asked to complete assessments in English and Maths to determine appropriate class placement. If space allows, we are happy to accept new starters into all year groups. We take boys up to Year 2 and girls may start boarding from Year 3. Registration is open for September 2025, with limited places available in-year for 2024-25.

Godstowe has truly been an incredible experience for Ria. She joined in Form 2 at age 8 as a full-time boarder and had never been away from home. Just like her older sister Sarien, who was also at the school, from her time spent at Godstowe, Ria has blossomed into a confident, responsible, happy and kind young lady. The wonderful teaching and support staff helped her reach her full potential academically and harnessed her sporting skills and ability. We will always cherish the lifelong friendships made and the priceless memories of the years spent at one of the best Prep schools in the UK.
