Headmistress Elect - Kate Bailey

We are delighted to announce that Kate Bailey will be joining us from September 2022 as the new Headmistress. 

Kate has over twenty years' experience teaching in the independent sector, most recently as the Founding Head of Wetherby Pembridge School in Manhattan, where she has successfully built a school from scratch, selling the benefits of the Common Entrance educational system to parents in the United States, as well as leading the school through the challenges of the pandemic.

Prior to this, Kate worked at a number of preparatory schools, including as the Deputy Head at Wetherby Prep School in London, where she not only deputised for the Head but also played a lead role in the transition of pupils to senior school at both 13+ and scholarship level.

We look forward to welcoming Kate to the school in September.
