200 Red Tulips for a BRILLIANT fundraising campaign

The whole school community came together during the lockdown, in the May half term by walking, running, cycling, skipping or swimming as far as possible whilst raising money for The Ruth Strauss Foundation. We raised a fantastic £3,832.63 for this amazing charity, and our combined mileage got us to Tokyo and back! As a thank you to Godstowe, the Foundation sent us a gift of 200 Godstowe-red tulip bulbs which our boarding community have planted around the school site in pots and containers that they decorated themselves. We are looking forward to the beautiful springtime colour that these flowers will bring.

The Ruth Strauss Foundation supports families facing the death of a parent from cancer and drives the need for more research into non-smoking lung cancers.
