Miss Bailey's Blog - Week 17, 2024

We have opened the school to visitors and hosted a range of smaller events over the last week and it has been such a pleasure to showcase the best of Godstowe to new faces and networks. We have so much to be proud of and the buzz and positivity we have received from our visitors has been welcome and much deserved. As we move to launch our daily London Bus service from Hammersmith from September, we have been invited to exhibit at a range of London Prep Schools 'Future Schools' events. One event will include families from Bute House, Kensington Prep, Glendower and Faulkner House and another Ravenscourt Park Prep. I shall also join them to speak at a few events alongside other senior Heads, which I am really looking forward to. The solidarity, warmth and help in the education world never ceases to amaze me and our team and girls shone bright this week.

It was wonderful to welcome back our Uppers/Year 7 girls from Sauveterre on Monday- they had clearly loved their time in France. Thank you to Downe House for hosting such an impressive educational and cultural week for our girls. The school has been full of activities and fun this week, and as we break for the Exeat weekend and finish with our Lowers' Parent Evening tonight, I hope you can all enjoy the longer weekend together.
