Thank you to Singing Teacher Ms Connell

The Music Department is sad to say farewell to Ms Connell who has been a popular singing teacher to girls at Godstowe for nearly eighteen years. Some of her pupils gained music scholarships and exhibitions to their senior schools and still continue to sing with groups such as the National Youth Choir. Many girls on reaching IVths, will have benefitted from Ms Connell’s vocal training for our end of year productions where she also accompanied: The Vackees, School Cabaret, Bugsy Malone and Mary Poppins. More recently Ms Connell has enjoyed tutoring music theory to girls after school. We would all like to thank her for her enthusiastic contributions to the musical life of the school and for the care and support she has offered to each individual girl. Ms Connell continues to perform and will be teaching from home.
