Royal College of Music visit Godstowe

Royal College of Music Masterclass and Concert inspires young musicians

On Friday 16th October, Godstowe were honoured to welcome Professor Colin Lawson, Director of Royal College of Music. He ran a masterclass for a group of our musicians, giving them tips and guidance on how best to improve their performances . The girls were thrilled to meet Professor Lawson and the Alke Quartet and learnt a huge amount during their two hour masterclass.

Following the masterclass, Professor Lawson and the Alke quartet from the RCM performed in a concert alongside Godstowe girls. Parents and children from Godstowe packed into the Recital Hall and enjoyed a magical concert, inspiring many of our young musicians.
